I used this book as a personal study tool and not in a small group setting. I only found session 4 to be helpful to me personally, Overcoming Anxiety. It does not seem like every session of this study would apply to very many people. I also found the content/questions to be somewhat confusing at times. I could not figure out what portion of the text he was referring to with some of the questions asked at the end of each section and therefore it was difficult to make the application. Some of the questions were good but I had no idea where he was going with them, as I would search again through the verse and text and not be able to figure out what he was referring to. I am not sure if the series is designed so that you can jump in on study 4 and that may have been part of the problem. Maybe I would have understood how this victory series was supposed to work if I had started in study 1? I'm not sure... Anyhow, I didn't find this book to be as helpful as I was hoping it would be and after doing this study, I don't think I would even care to start in study 1.
