Inescapable Book Review

My newest book to review was Inescapable by Nancy Mehl.  LOVE Christian mystery/suspense books, so I have read many of them and this one was one of the better ones, not the best, but still good.  I got through it pretty quickly.  Although I figured out who was causing Lizzie's problems fairly early on, I was still unsure of how all the pieces fit together, so it kept me reading.  Love the lessons included on God and faith.  One line in particular stuck out to me...Cora tells Lizzie "I'm only a vessel.  God sent you here for a good reason.  And before you leave this place, you'll know why.  I'm just honored to be a part of it."  What an excellent reminder that we, as Christians, are all just vessels to be used by God to do His work on this earth and what an honor to be used by God in that way!  Overall a good read with likeable characters and I will definitely be interested in reading book #2.  I did think the end was a bit cheesy, but definitely worth the read.  View the book trailer here:
