Threads of Suspicion Book Review

Threads of Suspicion is the newest book by Dee Henderson in the Evie Blackwell Cold Case series. I wanted to love it, but it wasn't one of my favorites of hers.  I once again got bogged down with too many details (as I have in some of her more recent books).  I feel the book could have been shortened, as some of the details seemed unimportant and, frankly, made me bored at times.  It was an interesting book but it had a slow start...and middle.  The end was my favorite as it got more interesting and the plot moved along at a faster pace.  I like Evie and the characters in the book but I think I liked the first book in the series better than this one.  Overall, an ok book.  I would recommend reading it still if you liked the 1st book.  I was given a complimentary copy of this book by the publisher in exchange for an honest review.
