While I enjoyed this book, it is not one of my favorites from Beverly Lewis. I found myself kind of lost in the beginning, trying to figure out what was going on and who was who. Therefore it was a slow start for me. About 1/3 to halfway through the book, the plot picked up a bit and started making more sense to me. I like the characters in the story and the message of God's grace and forgiveness and the importance of forgiving yourself. I was concerned the story would go in a different direction, but was so pleased with the outcome. Overall it was a good read, it just took me a while to get into it.
