Tide and Tempest Book Review

Tide and Tempest is the 3rd book in the Edge of Freedom Series by Elizabeth Ludwig.  I do think it is helpful to have read both of the other books in the series as many of the characters and the storylines carry over from the other books.  I enjoyed this book just as I have the others.  It was interesting and kept my attention.  I did get frustrated at times with the lack of communication between Tillie and Captain Morgan and the fact that they fall in love so easily with very little communication.  I also found the end somewhat confusing with the author switching between first and last names for the characters.  Overall though it was an interesting story with likeable characters and enough twists in the storyline to keep me interested.  I would recommend the entire series for those of you who enjoy historical fiction.
