The Secret Keeper Book Review

The Secret Keeper is the 4th book in the series Home to Hickory Hollow by Beverly Lewis.  I enjoyed this 4th book in the Home to Hickory Hollow series.  It took some turns that I had not expected, which kept me interested.  I had hoped that Jenny would realize that what she was missing was a deeper, more personal relationship with Jesus and that she could live a simpler life without becoming Amish, which Katie had kind of implied to her.  I did like that she went home and made an effort to connect better with her family after leaving without really telling them what she planned to do.  The part where her old boyfriend came back kind of felt unfinished to me, like a loose end was not tied up.  It was interesting to read about the steps taken to become Amish and how difficult of a task it is.  And, as always, I enjoyed reading more about the characters in Hickory Hollow.  Overall, it was a good book, but not one of my favorites.

I received a complimentary copy of this book from the publisher in exchange for an honest review.
