I had the opportunity to read the second book in the Home to Hickory Hollow series. I enjoyed this second book, but didn't like it as much as the first book in the series, The Fiddler. It did keep me reading, not knowing to whom or if Joanna would be married. Joanna was just as likeable a character as in the first book and I was definitely pulling for her to have her heart's desire. I love how she acted in trust and faith that she would one day be married. All in all a good read.
